Park Facilities

The City of Lynd is proud to be located near the entrance of Camden State Park, one of southwestern Minnesota’s most scenic outdoor destinations. Just minutes from town, this beautiful park offers year-round recreation for residents and visitors alike.

Camden State Park features hiking and biking trails, trout fishing in the Redwood River, bass and bluegill fishing in Brawner Lake, a spring-fed swimming pool, and stunning views from the Dakota Valley Trail. The park is home to woodlands, prairies, and diverse wildlife, making it a favorite spot for nature lovers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Originally established in 1935, the park sits on the historic site of the former village of Camden and lies atop the Altamont moraine—part of the ancient Coteau des Prairies plateau.

Whether you're camping, canoeing, exploring trails, or enjoying a picnic, Camden offers something for everyone.
