1. What are the City Office hours?
The City Office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Hours may vary on holidays—please call ahead to confirm.

2. How do I set up or change utility services (water, sewer, garbage)?
Contact the City Office at 507-865-4514 to start or update your utility services. New residents must fill out a Utility Billing Form, available at the office.

3. When is my utility bill due?
Utility bills are typically due on the 15th of each month. Late fees may apply after the due date.

4. Where do I vote?
All elections are held at the Lynd Community Center, which serves as the official polling place for city residents.

5. Where can I get a building permit?
You can pick up a building permit application at the City Office. Completed applications will be reviewed and approved (or denied) at the next City Council meeting. If you're unsure whether your project requires a permit, please contact the City Office at 507-865-4514.

6. Can I host an event at the Community Center?
Yes! The Lynd Community Center is available for public and private rentals. Contact the City Office for rental details, availability, and rates.

7. Are pets allowed in the city limits?
Yes. All dogs must be licensed through the City. Please remember to follow leash laws and clean up after your pets.
