As a small but growing community in Lyon County, the City of Lynd takes pride in maintaining transparent and effective local government. Our City Council follows all state and local guidelines to ensure responsible decision-making that reflects the needs and values of our residents.

Though Lynd is home to just over 450 people, we are committed to providing the same level of professionalism and civic engagement found in larger communities. The City Council meets regularly to address city matters, oversee growth and development, and ensure the continued well-being of our residents.

City Council meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month and include a public forum, where residents are encouraged to attend, share input, ask questions, and stay involved in the decisions that shape our community.
